After the dog walk and coffee break at a small, and new to me Park Slope Brooklyn joint, continued home recordings of songs or compositions I find suitable for learning. This weekend I have completed Angel Eyes, Footprints, In My Life and Afro Blue. Plan to record Salome, but it is a more difficult task since it has latin percussion rythm section. It takes a lot of real time playing. No GarageBand tricks can save me.

Despues de tomar la caminata con el perro, y parar a tomat cafe en un nuevo sitio en Park Slope, Brooklyn, continue con mis grabaciones caseras de composiciones apropradas para aprender. Este fi de semana grabe Angel Eye, Footprints,  Afro Blue and In My Life. Planeo grabar Salome, que tiene seccion de ritmo de percision latina. Eso indica que no hay trucos De GarageBand que valgan, hay que tocarlos manual.

I love media and communication, as well as digital technology. I write and speak fluently in Spanish and English. I was born in New York, but was sent to Puerto Rico at an early age, where I lived until drafted by the U.S. army. Upon returning from an honorable discharge, I found Puerto Rico small and limited at the time. I moved to Boston where I pursued musical studies and later worked as a musician, teacher, and speech-pathologist in New York. I am currently still interested in world politics, social justice, and income inequality. Health and wellness are essential to survive and thrive. I am working on patience and skills necessary to keep learning.
