“The plaintiffs in the suit are parents of students at Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, the Mosholu Parkway middle school in the Bronx and William S. Hackett Middle School in Albany. Wendy Lecker, a senior lawyer at the Education Law Center who is representing them, said that without the money, extra services to support students would disappear.”

Once again, while the bureaucrats live and prosper, poor students in schools struggling to improve against the odds, face a formidable obstacle – New York State.
