“If we would have taken the oil, you wouldn’t have ISIS, because ISIS formed with the power and the wealth of that oil,” Trump told Lauer.

The Trump supports military imperialism, the same policy that is a recruiting argument for terrorist organizations throughout the ages. Come on, a few soldiers are going to secure areas in an area experiencing chaos and violence?   Besides, oil is a dying commodity that keeps in power countries that are against democratic values that are being supposedly promoted by the United States.   Why treasure oil, a non-renewable energy source that harms human health worldwide. The Trump seems to think that the president of the United States can control the military-industrial establishment. In 1961 President Dwight D. Eisenhower promoted the idea that the military establishment kept peace. Promoting the use of the United States military invasions as a way to keep peace and order has failed in the Middle East, and changing generals, even if he could, or reducing the number of troops for the invasion, will not improve its chances of success.
