First Clinton-Trump Debate Is Framed by Rifts Over Race and Gender – The New York Times

“Mr. Trump is positioning himself at the vanguard of white men.”

The Trump is no Mark Twain. Mark Twain distilled popular topics in his writing, using humor that everyone could enjoy. Twain had political views that he proposed without using vulgarity or insulting language to any group of people. The Trump has insulted individuals in public, using words like “flat chested”, “a slob”, and associating the African-American movement for equality and justice, with “drugs”.  No way a person you would not want to meet could be elected president of the United States, unless you are like that person. The Trump winning the presidency would be like a social nuclear bomb that would bring greater social unrest, government paralysis and financial downfall for America, “white men” and all.

I love media and communication, as well as digital technology. I write and speak fluently in Spanish and English. I was born in New York, but was sent to Puerto Rico at an early age, where I lived until drafted by the U.S. army. Upon returning from an honorable discharge, I found Puerto Rico small and limited at the time. I moved to Boston where I pursued musical studies and later worked as a musician, teacher, and speech-pathologist in New York. I am currently still interested in world politics, social justice, and income inequality. Health and wellness are essential to survive and thrive. I am working on patience and skills necessary to keep learning.
