“Esta histórica plaza fue construida en recordación de los grandes exponentes de este género musical, la gran mayoría nacidos aquí en Villa Palmeras y que tanta gloria le han dado a este país. Hoy la reabrimos con la música de la Orquesta de Willie Rosario, acompañado de Choco Orta, y con el Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, con la promesa de que seguirá abierta todos los sábados para dar clases de salsa a todo aquel que quiera aprender y para dar la oportunidad a grandes exponentes del género y a otros que quieran abrirse paso en el mundo de la música”, expresó la alcaldesa.

“This historic square was built in memory of the great exponents of this genre, most born here in Villa Palmeras and much glory have given to this country. Today we reopened with the music of the Orchestra of Willie Rosario, accompanied by Choco Orta, and El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, with the promise that will open every Saturday to teach salsa to everyone who wants to learn and provide an opportunity for great exponents of the genre and others who want to break into the music world, “said the mayor.
