Puerto Rican Parade celebrates the time when the island could finally fly its own flag, now they are facing losing their land.
“In November 1950, they (U.S. agents) arrested 3,000 Puerto Ricans within one week! Some of them were only eight years old.” Owners of the Puerto Rican flag were subject to arrest and jail.
