It Was Never Just About the Chat: Ruminations on a Puerto Rican Revolution.

Puerto Rico has a long history of neglect of its colonizers. It seems like the colonized have risen and now demand to be heard. The chat is not about the language used, it is about the attitude of the puppet governor and lackeys, one of complete control of the island because of historical inaction of the people of Puerto Rico. The famous “hay bendito” that seemed to justify suffering and injustice by blaming fate or bad luck. In politics, change does not come easy since the powerful are not ones to give up their power, but at least the “forgotten island” will get noticed for its response to pervasive injustice and abuse.
